We are honored to share Faith's powerful testimony below. As a student in Kampala, Uganda, Faith has been significantly shaped by DJJ's discipleship Bible studies, which have illuminated her understanding of God's work in her life. After completing primary school, she faced uncertainty and challenges, yet through faith and community
support, she was able to pursue her education and enroll in secondary school.
"I completed my primary seven in 2022, and after that, I didn’t know what was next. I walked everywhere, sought help, and looked for friends to assist me, but no one could help. In that same year, I had just gotten my dad’s contact information because I didn’t grow up with him, but he also didn’t help. My mom was only looking for money for food and clothing.
However, God made a way where there seemed to be none.
My pastor, Bishop Nelson Kabuuka, gave me shs 160,000 and told me that God knows me and that I should just continue walking in His light. The next day, Edwin Agaba found me a school; he provided me with a bursary, scholastic materials, and
everything I needed to join secondary school. Additionally, my stepdad gave me shs 200,000, and I was able to join secondary school. I thank God for what I am."
